` CALDWELL SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER COMMISSION
ANNUAL MEETING
December 7, 1995
The Annual Meeting of the Commission was held December 7th. There were
6 condidates for 3 year terms on the Commission. Lauren Stevens, Chairman,
asked for nominations from the floor. There were none. The 6 candidates
were: Kenny Averill, Doris Ellis, Everett Evans, Ramona Honey, Clarence
Schwanz, and Harvey Simmons.
Those elected to the Commission were: Kenny Averill, Doris Evans and
Harvey Simmons.
Following lunch the newly elected (as yet unapproved) Cp;mmission members
met in private session with the present Commission members. Those
present of the 1995 Commission were: Ruby Arbaugh, Marie Fullbright,
Emory Ireland, Beryl Kingsbury, Lauren Stevens and Jim Taylor. Also
present was Dot Blessing, Coord�!nator.
The purpose of the meeting was to elect offic�s for the year 1996 Ruby
made a motion, seconded by Emory, to elect Lauren as Chairman for 199�
Approval was unanimous.
Lauren made a motion, seconded by Emory, to elect Kenny Averill to the
position of Treasurer for 1996 Approval was unanimous.
Lauren explained th���iay Chadbourne had been approved by the Commission
to fi11 Marge Weber's terin. As May has withdrawn, it is necessary to
appoint someone else. Lauren suggested Ramona Honey for this position.
Marie made a motion, seconded by Jim, to appoint Ramona Honey as
Secretaxy for the balance of Marge's term, through 1997• Approval was
unanimous.
Jim made a motion, seconded by ���y�, to elect Doris Ellis as Vice-
Chairman for 1996 Appro�al was unanimous.
Lauren made a motion, seconded by Marie, to adjourn. Meeting adjourned
at 1:15 P.M.
