May 2I,I996
The meeting was called to order at 9:30 A.M. by the chairman Lauren Stevens. All
members present.
The secretarys report was read and approved.
The treasurers report was read and approved.
The co-ordinator �resented the following bills:
Beryl Kingsbury=====_$ 4.09======Putty knife.
Kenny Averill--------$ I3:II-----Floor adhesive
White Glove------- 300.00----Cleaning of center
Duane Heating--------$ 429.00
A motion was made to pay the bills by Ruby.Seconded by Pete.Passed unanamously.
A discussion was held as to the Meals on Wheels paying rent for their office space.
No desision made.
It was also discussed that we should sort and organize the keys in the office so they
would be neater and easier to find when needed.'
A discussion was held as to which bills were the responsibility of the board and which
ones the city should pay. The roofer is to be contacted and asked to r-pair the metal work
on the roof.
We discussed the possibility of using the Citys buying power in order to receive a
discount on pmrchases. Lauren is to check with the city as to this possability.
Treadmill.===Kenny will check and apply to Idaho Power as to a grant to help with the :
repairs.A motion was made byLauren and seconded by Doris to install a new motor.
Passed.
It was discussed as to the possibility of the board taking over the complete
management of the center including Pool,Cards,etc.May be problems so will discuss
further and make a later decesion.
A bid of $ 364.00 from Chem Dry to clean the wall carpeting was considered. A motion
was made by Pete to accept �ne bid. Seconded by Beryl.Passed unanamously.
The centers 20th. anniversary was planned. There will be an open house on Wed. June I9th.
Betty Adams or George Nourse will be the entertainment.from 2 until 4 P.M.
We will serve coffee, cake, and punch and will have I2 floral arrangements to be
given away by a drawing.as door prizes.
Discussion of the bonus for the co-ordinater and the cook was held.Lauren suggested
$500.00 for the cook and Dot the first year with Half that ammount for the cooks helper.
Ways sugested for raising additional funds for the center w�s_raising the ammount of
the yellow cup donation. This is to be �iscussed farther at a later date.
A motion for adjournment was made by �eryl and seconded by Ruby.Passed.
