MEETING OF AUGUST 3 1995
A special meeting was called at 11�35 A.M. regarding the Center's tax
exempt status.
A letter from Carl Christensen, CPA of the firm of Christensen, Jackson
and Miller of Caldwell, was read. ( A copy is attached)
It was not necessary to proceed with the Power of Attorney for Mr. Chris-
tensen. Af some discussion, it was proposed by Emory and seconded
by Beryl, that we employ Mr. Christensen to assist us in applying for
tax emempt status. We will also ask him to prepare and file our 990's
for 1992 , 1993 and 1994, as well as future years.
Eleanor will get the Annual Reports for the Board for those years.
Arlene Stevens will work with Dot to obtain the necessary information on
the nutrition end needed by the accountant.
Arby arrived late and suggested we check to see if IRS might assist in
this in order to save the $500 fee we would be paying the CPA. It was
decided that Lauren would look into this matter.
Ruby mac� a motion we adjourn, seconded by Marie. Meeting adjourned
at 12:07 P.M.
