' SENIOR CTTIZEN BOARD
REGULAR MEETING---December 7, lggg
Meeting called to order at 9:30 am by Howard Smith,
Vice-Chairman. Members present: Howard Smith, Virginia
Figueredo, Gwen Barney, Vada Givens, Doris Ellis, Bob Trunnell,
Rick Scherer. Dallas Dillon --Inqrid Rose, Coordinator.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Vada Givens--Motion for approval of the printed docket as
amended: motion that was tabled, change of date for January
meeting. Sec. Rick Scherer. Passed.
OLD BUSINESS: Hispanic Attendance, group will be coming Dec.
30. Need to keep in contact with Henr
Doris Ellis--Motion to table the EOA Lease�nSe�. Vadaldevens.
Passed. Auction, Dec. 16 Final plans are in place.
FACILITY INSPECTION: Glass Doors--One bid from City Glass for
$403.20. Gwen Barney--Motion to table this so a second bid
can be obtained. Sec. Vada Givens. Passed. Gwen Barney will
get the signs needed at the center.
Vada Givens--Motion to discontinue paying any incentive pay.Sec.
Bob Trunnell Passed.
IVo one seems to be interested in representing our center at
the EOA at .this time.
NEW BUSINESS:
GWEN Barney--Motion that the January meeting in 1999 be held
on Jan. 11, the second Monday, since the following Monday is
a holiday. Sec. Vada Givens. Passed.
Vada Givens--Motion to adjourn meeting, Meeting adjourned at
10:20 am
