� Caldwell Senior Citizen's Center Commission '
; Meeting of April 17, 1995
The meeting was called. to order by Chairman Loren Stevens at 9:30 AM.
The reading of the minutes of the last meeting were read and approved
as read.
The wall under the kitchen sink was repaired and the kitchen was well
cleaned. It was inspected on April 8, 1995 and approved.
The Treasurer's report was read and approved, see attached.
Dot gave the nutrition report, see attached.
Bills presented were as follows:
City of Cald�aell - kitchen repair $124.47
Nampa Fire Safety 81.65
Cleaning maintenence 300.00
American Door Service 350.00
Hill-Donnelly Cross ReferenceDirectory service for $113.38 was cancelled.
Motion was made by Beryl Kingsbury and seconded by Marie Fullbriqht to
pay these bills. Approved by all.
2353 senior meals and 52 non-senior meals were served, averaging $1.879
per person. Nutrition budget exceeded $2,500 with expenses $4,830.33.
We had a long discussion about the expectations for the new cook. No
board member will discuss problems in the kitchen with the cooks. We
will make a formal offer to Gail for the cook's job. Lauren STevens
discussed moving kitchen help back to two. Arba made a motion and it
was seconded by Jim Taylor, that volunteers be used to make up the loss
of the extra kitchen helper. It was approved by all.
Explain to Donna that a dishwasher �aas a temporary position and that we
can't afford to pay for the extra help. She will be accorded two weelcs
notice.
Dallas Dillon wants to be relieved of the duties concerning the Canyon
County Organization on Aging. Pearl Teraberry would be happy to rep-
resent the center.
Motion was made to adjourn the meetingby Jim Taylor, seconded by Ruby
Arbaugh. Approved by all. Meeting a�journed at 11:30
