CALDWELL SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER BOARD MEETING '�;; ��� � r�:,� JUNE 8, 2009 The meeting was called to order by Ramona Whitney at 1:06 P.M. with the Pledge to the Flag. Roll was taken and noted in the roll book. The following visitors were recognized: Jeri Rhodes of Intermountain Agency (Insurance) and Kay Albert, the liaison with CCOA. The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and approved on a motion by JoAnne Fondren with the following corrections: The coordinator did not take June 4 off but will be gone on June 10`", 11` and 15`�'. Also, the fee of $60.00 for the sign was refunded by the city. Jo Anne Fondren moved that the Treasurer's report be approved. Seconded and CARRIED Olga Gonzales moved that the Coordinator's report be approved. Seconded and CARRIED. Bingo Report: It was reported that the Concession funds must be recorded separately from the � Bingo accounting. Jo Anne Fondren moved that this be done by the treasurer in the General Fund account. Seconded and CARRIED. Olga Gonzales moved that the Bingo report be approved as printed. Seconded and CARRIED. BILLS: Nutrition Program Reimburse fridge rental $68.00 Gene Shaecher Reimburse for sign 47.09 « « Reimburse for Range 62.63 $177.72 Moved by Jo Anne Fondren that the bills be paid. Seconded and CARRIED. Kay Albert presented a report on the activities of CCOA. Report on file. Kenny Averill reported on EOA meeting. Report on file. IJNFINISHED BUSINESS: Kitchen renovation: All equipment has been paid for; the dishwasher is installed; the range is installed; the convection oven should be here shortly ready for installation. A work day is set for June 13 at 8:00 A.M. to clean various parts of the building. The coordinator and board have lined out supervisors for the project. Jeri Rhodes was accepted and welcomed into the ranks of Board members by a unanimous vote of the members present on a motion by Kenny Averill. The Paint Company will re-do the paint job on the floor of the walk-in box. The coordinator will write for a letter of confirmation and set a tentative date for this to take place. NEW BUSINESS: Gene Schaecher, Bill Billings, et al, donated their time and talents to the installation of the range. The Center received a grant of $500.00 from Sam's Club. The Coordinator will arrange to pick up the check. ' . . The Custodian will leave trash bags in the pool room for their use. The Bingo committee will see that their trash is disposed of after the games on Tuesday. After much discussion, the Board decided to increase the cook's and coordinator's wage by $0.35 beginning July 1, 2009. This �increase is approximately a 3% per year increase. The helper's will remain the same as there is an automatic raise to them in July. Jo Anne Fondren moved that this be done.
