CALDWELL SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER BOARD MEETING :�s��j����
AUGUST 10, 2009 ,
The meeting was called to order by Vice Chair Olga Gonzales with the Pledge of Allegiance to the
Flag.
There was a quorum of five members �present noted in the roll book with the Executive Director of
Elderly Opportunity Agency, Krista Cole and The Senior Center Coordinator, Paige McMichael also
present.
� Minutes of the previous meeting were corrected that the Coordinator was not on vacation on July 21,
2009 It was moved to approve as corrected by Kenny Averill. Seconded and CARRIED.
Jo Anne Fondren moved that the Treasurer's report be approved. Seconded and CARRIED.

It was moved by Jo Anne Fondren that the policy of splitting the funds of the Bingo be based on
accrual of $10,000.00 in place of 6 month time. Seconded and CARRIED. The Bingo report was
then approved.
BILLS: Heating Equipment Co. $1,030.00 Installation of oven and backsplash.
$7I3.00 from building fund
317.00 from general fund. Moved to pay the bill by Jo Anne Fondren. Seconded and
CARRIED.
CCOA report hand out. Report on file.
EOA will meet on August 17, 2009 at Homedale; Paige McMichael will be the alternate delegate
Volunteers are needed for raffle ticket sales for the Hawks ballgame on the 19` of August.
Executive Director, Krista Cole presented a program on the operations of EOA and the transportation
problems and a lengthy discussion was held on various aspects of the Caldwell Senior Center's role
'in the programs and the differential compared to the operation of other centers.
The Health Fair, sponsored by Canyon West Health, is set for September 24, 2009. More information
will follow with an appeal for participants.
October 14` and 28 are set for Flu shot days. Save On Drugs
The Coordinator will be on vacation August 28, 2009.
Olga Gonzales will put the used oven for sale on Craigs List.
No further business, the meeting adjourt�ed at 2:42 P.M.
