Senior Center Bonrd Meeting Jnn 10, 2011
President Erma Jones called the meetin� to order at 2A0 pm with the Pled�e o# AIlegiance
to the Flag.
In attendance:
Paige McMichael, 6ene Schaecher, Donna Crockett, Linda Waner, Erm� Jones,
Bob Sobc�, Forrest Smothermr�n, Kelli Warwick, Diane Moffat, Ramona Whitney
and Jeri Rhodes.
Kelli is from the Mayor's Yauth Council.
Russ Weihe guest ta the Center Board Meeting.
Guests: Kenny Averiil, Stan Olson - Architect

C7rnnt. Stan stated that there wauld be no structural change to aceess #o the Library at a
future dnte if the Center and Library agree to ndd a coffee shop.
Approx $40 thousnnd to move the kitchen
150,000 to complete the project and be completely functional.
Senior Center would not need to close for this eaccept for maybe 2-3 days to move the
kitchen, All remadel coufd be done while the Center is still operating.
Phnse I- move the kitchen nnd bring it all to code and operational. Stan feels that it will be
close but he is confident that it wauld come in at budget.
Per Stan we would not lose any spnce from the dining part when the Kitchen is moved.
We need to know exactfy what umount our mntch needs to be. Pnige calfed Pat Engle and
verified that we will need to match 20% of the 150,00 to qunlify for the 150 grant. The
Center if very close to this amount we need at least 7 thousand of in kind service. Can use
StQn's rates since he is a Licensed Contractor ns in kind hours.
Totals we have so far for the Match nre as follows:
$8745 Idaho Department of Commerce
$8598 City Improvements
$6000 for freezers
$- Stan will get us his in kind hours. ($3000 approx) .�'_�<'
$- Gene can charge at 75.00 per hour in kind- he wil! get us his hours. ($1500 approx)
$- Anything thnt goes toward upkeep of the building (volunteerism) can put down nt 20.00
per hour for in kind services. John painted pool room
Erma made a motion to continue with getting the grant to complete Phase I. This is
contingent on being able to build into the alley wny.
