Minutes
The meeting was called to order by Rudi Lotz at 12:OOPM.
Members present: Rudi & Barbara Lotz, Garianne Goslin, Shirley Alsup, Sheila Williams, Barb
Sayler, Ina & Ed Adler, Mary Ann & Frank Smith
Agenda: A motion to approve the Agenda was made by Sheila Williams and seconded by Frank
Smith. The motion passed unanimously.
Minutes: A motion to approve the Minutes from June & July was made by Ed Adler and
seconded by Barbara Sayler. The motion passed unanimously.
Finance Report: Debbie Geyer was not available to report but provided the current balance
which was $9,976.40. Barbara Sayler moved to approve the financials as presented. Shirley
Alsup seconded the motion which passed unanimously.
Deferred Items:
The refrigerator cabinet and donation box have been delayed until October.
Old Business:
Plaza Banner Alternatives:
This project is pending.
Quilt Display:
A new electrical plug was installed by Budget Electric.
School Education Tours:
Mary Ann Smith showed us a completed vest minus the buttons. There will be three
sizes. Barbara Lotz reported that the bags had been stuff. Also reported was that the
Quilt Scrapbook was complete.
The first official tour will be held September l at 5:30PM far a Cub Scout group.
Caldwell Railroad Club will put up a display and a railroad safety group will also attend.
Marketing Tools:
Garianne Goslin reported that Debbie's former assistant has volunteered to put together
promotional materials for the Educational Tours.
New Business:
Honorarium:
Sheila Williams moved to provide a$200 honorarium for Alex Hernandez who has put
r ' � together promotional materials for the Educational Tours and will be mailing to school
districts, scouting groups, home-school associations and others.
Executive Committee & Committee at Large:
There was no discussion on this item and it was deferred to the next meeting.
Other Business:
Indian Creek Festival is September 19
Adjourned:
Mary Ann Smith moved to adjourn the meeting at 12:20PM. The motion was seconded by
Shirley Alsup and passed unanimously.
