Caldwell Public Library Board of Trustees
Minutes of September 7, 2006
Present: 7oan Pemble, Chair; Lou Roehr, Jack Teraberry, Rob Oates, city council liaison;
and Elaine Leppert, librarian.
Meeting was called to order by Chair, Joan Pemble, at 7:00 p.m. in the Idaho Room.
I. Minutes from August 3 were approved (Roehr, Teraberry)
IL Bills for August of $67,924.47 were approved. (Teraberry, Roehr)
III. Business
There was a discussion regarding MySpace.com and other similar sites. The issue
was continued to the ne� meeting. (Teraberry, Roehr)
Other business and announcements
� Elaine Leppert reported that the "live" date for the Horizon system will be
Wednesday September 13 and the library catalog and circulation system will be down on
Monday and Tuesday for the transfer of information. The system may be down again on
Thursday September 14 as new telephone lines are installed at Boise Public.
The Friends will host an open house on Tuesday September 19 3-8 to introduce
the new system.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:51 p.m.
