Meeting June 7, 2407
Present: Chair Joan Pemble, Lou Roehr, Jan Batt, city council representative, Rob 4ates, and
fibrarian Elaine Leppert.
I. Minutes of Apri15, 2007 meeting were approved (Batt/Roehr)
II. Bills
Bills of $45,672.79 for April and $50,209.38 for May were presented for payrnent.
Motion to approve (MSC RoehrBatt)
III. Business
• A. Request for reconsideration of the board book Baby Sleeps. After review of the book
the board found that the illustration in question was appropriate in conteart, tastefully
done and not provocative. MSC to retain the bool� in the boaard book collection.
(Roehr/Batt)
B. General discussion of the budget process was held.
C. Staffing update. Elaine reported that we have finally hired ennugh pages to help
through the summer.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:47 p.m.
