The board has no objection to this and told John Watson to take care of it. Cooper introduced Brian Culbertson. Brian, an assistant at Purple Sage, wants to set up a Caldwell Golf website for Purple Sage and Fairview. Brian showed the board members the pictures and copy that would be on the site. Purple Sage and Fairview would both have pages with links that would give scheduled events, fees, course information, etc. Brian said startup costs would be $124.95 and then $25.00 per month. Shirley asked how much Brian wanted in compensation to do this. Brian � replied that he had not given any thought to that and it could be address later. He � t , , � said he enjoyed doing the work and it would not be too time consuming. Brian also • said that most of the courses in the area have a website. Jeff Osgood said he thought it was a good idea and would provide cheap advertising. Shirley Akagi made the motion, seconded by Fran Craeger that we authorize Brian to proceed with setting up a Caldwell Golf website. The motion passed unanimously. The board suggested that Brian check with the city about possibly getting one of their used computers. 2) REPORT FROM JOHN WATSON John reports that Purple Sage was closed for seven weeks this year because of snow. Micron employees have asked for time to have a Monday night league at Purple Sage. This would be for just a few weeks and most of the players would be green fee payers. The board had no objection to allowing this league on Monday evening. 3) REPORT FROM LENNY STR�UP Lenny said that Fairview is also behind because of the snow but that now play is good and he believes that he will make up the deficit rapidly. Lenny requested a new phone system and the board told him to talk to ElJay about an upgrade to his system. 4) REPORT FROM GORDY CROCKETT Gordy reports that he is working on the water system at Fairview and that trees are being sprayed at Purple Sage. • 4) �EW BU3INESS Gordy said that he hasn't been able to get started on the new restrooms at Purple 5age because the City still hasn't accepted a bid for the project. No more business, meeting was adjourned. �
