Chairman Cooper called the meeting to order and took the roll call
1} CHAIRMAN'S REPORT
Cooper reported that Mary Maurer had bought a single season pass for this year but
wasn't able to use it because of illness and wants to transfer the pass to her son.
The board has no objection to this and told John Watson to take care of it.
Cooper introduced Brian Culbertson. Brian, an assistant at Purple Sage, wants to
set up a Caldwell Golf website for Purple Sage and Fairview. Brian showed the board
members the pictures and copy that would be on the site. Purple Sage and Fairview
would both have pages with links that would give scheduled events, fees, course
information, etc. Brian said startup costs would be $124.95 and then $25.00 per
month. Shirley asked how much Brian wanted in compensation to do this. Brian
replied that he had not given any thought to that and it could be address later. He
 t , ,

said he enjoyed doing the work and it would not be too time consuming. Brian also
• said that most of the courses in the area have a website. Jeff Osgood said he
thought it was a good idea and would provide cheap advertising. Shirley Akagi made
the motion, seconded by Fran Craeger that we authorize Brian to proceed with setting
up a Caldwell Golf website. The motion passed unanimously. The board suggested
that Brian check with the city about possibly getting one of their used computers.
2) REPORT FROM JOHN WATSON
John reports that Purple Sage was closed for seven weeks this year because of snow.
Micron employees have asked for time to have a Monday night league at Purple Sage.
This would be for just a few weeks and most of the players would be green fee
payers. The board had no objection to allowing this league on Monday evening.
3) REPORT FROM LENNY STRUP
Lenny said that Fairview is also behind because of the snow but that now play is
good and he believes that he will make up the deficit rapidly.
Lenny requested a new phone system and the board told him to talk to ElJay about an
upgrade to his system.
4) REPORT FROM GORDY CROCKETT
Gordy reports that he is working on the water system at Fairview and that trees are
being sprayed at Purple Sage.
• 4) EW BU3INESS
Gordy said that he hasn't been able to get started on the new restrooms at Purple
5age because the City still hasn't accepted a bid for the project.
No more business, meeting was adjourned.
