Chairman's Report - 2. Report from John Watson 3. Report from Gordy Crockett 4. New Business Vice Chairman Shirley Akagi called the meeting to order and took roll call. CHAIRMAN'S REPORT It was reported that Boyd Cooper was ill and unable to attend the meeting. • � _ � • Letters were read from Beth Watson & Eric Kennedy requesting their season passes purchased for 2001 are extended to 2002, both have medical reasons that they cannot use the current passes. Board will extend them to next year with them paying the increase. John Watson will take care of both. A letter from Leisa Parrott concerning advertising at the Caldwell Invita.tional Baseball Tourney was presented. Board declined the proposal. L.J. presented a copy of proposed rate increase for 2002. Discussion was tabled until Boyd could be in attendance. Lany Rick said he had been ask if it would be possible to buy a season pass for Fairview only Some discussion was held and it was decided to wait and get Lenny's input. We will check to see how other golf courses handle this. GORDY'S �pORT Sewer system at Fairview is done. Some small sprinklers have been put in around the clubhouse. The bathrooms at Purpie Sage are in planning and zoning and the should start work on them next month. y • JOHN'S REpORT Proceeds are up for May. We are within 1% of what we were last year. Governor Dirk Kempthorne is proclaiming July 23-29 Golf Awareness Week and is asking area golf courses to participate in various events. Some sugg,ested events include discounted green fees, lessons, etc. John is looking into it and will use his own judgment on it. LENNy'S I2EpORT Lenny was unable to attend; he is running the Junior Elks Tournarnent with over a hundred kids. He reports Junior Golf is alive and well. NEW BUSINESS Jeff reported he was getting complaints on pin placements especially on the weekends. It really holds up play. Gordy had already talcen care of the problem. Dan reported information on the new restrooms and E.J. explained how the different jobs were being bid out. Work should start July 1 St Brian updated us on the website. • Meeting adjourned.
