Because of this they will give their reports first. 2) REPORT FROM JOHN 1NATSON John presented his financial report. John said that we are down slightly in April, $56,600 this year, $58,000 last year_ The weather has been too cold with tots of wind and rain to • have good play. Other than this, things are going well. a • 3} REPORT FRfl�WI LEiV1VY STROUP Lenny said he was about the same as John, down a little bit, $10,300 last year, $9,lOQthis year. He said they have sold more season passes this year and junior passes are also up. Weather has been a big factar. Lenny said that he has heard that business is bad at all the tocal golf courses. John Watson said he thought we had made a good decision not to raise aur green fees any more than we did. Lenny said he is getting reac[y to start his junior program. !t wiil begin June 12. This concluded the reports from John and Lenny. Cooper said they could leave for their meeting anytime they needed to. 1) CONTINUATlON OF CHA(RMAN'� REPORT Cooper told the board that we still have to address the problem that Englehorn and Teraberry had brought farward. Tfais concerns balls hitting hauses on the number three fairway at Fairview. Cooper told the board that the selection committee had interviewed the top five candidates and narrowed it down to three. These had been sent on to the Mayor for hi� selection of the one to be hired Shirley Akagi told the.board about the meeting of the Canyon County Commissioners about • the walk path along EI Paso Road. The County turned down the highway department's appeal. Shiriey said that she thought the letter Chairman Caoper read, telling how the goif board felt, was the deciding factor in the defeat of the highway district proposal. 4) NEW OR OLD BUSINESS No further business the meeting was adjourned. �
