Cooper said this is good because now we can talk about these people without them being here to defend themselves. ( this brought a laugh fram the members). Cooper read a letter from Janis Ogawa asking for consideration for a refund or credit on her father's golf ticket for 2003. Her father, Yosie, has become ill. Cooper said he called Janis � and toid her that they had no chance of getting a refund because the time frame of the � � " refund policy will not allow it. A discussion foilowed and it was noted by the board that a • copy of the refund or credit policy must be given ta each person buying a season pass. Cooper said he would write Janis a note and tell her that the letter was read at the board meeti�g and the request was denied. 2) REPORT FROM GLEiV KUSHLAN Absent - no report --- -_- 3} REPORT EROM J�HN SHREINER - __ _ _- - Absent, no repart 4) REPORT FROM JflHN WATSON Absent - no report 5) REPORT FROM LENNY STROUP Absent - no report 6) NEW OR OLD BUSINESS Pat Inglis said he would like to see our golf courses offer a discount punch card. He said � this will bring additional business from people who do not play enough to warrant buying a season pass. Pat said we have to step up to the plate and figure out ways to generate more money. A discussion followed on the various programs that could be used with a punch card system. It was decided to bring this punch card idea up at the next meeting when we have Lenny and John present. Pat said he would like to see our pro' s participate in PGA day. Qn this day free gol� lessons are offered to peaple who want to learn to play. Jeff Osgood said we need the Pro's to get together with the Parks and Recreatian Department to get the junior golfers out. Pat said he would like to see some new tee boxes at Purple Sage. Georgia Hersh said we need to make up a plan with the improvements listed so we can approach the city for money. Pat said it has been a long tirne since Purple Sage hosted an (GA event. He said he would like to see us put in a bid to get one of the IGA events. Georgia Hersh said that if we want to host an event we neec[ to get aur name on the list. Pat said it would give us some good publi�ity if we had an IGA event. Cooper said we need to bring this up when we have the pros here because #hey woufd be very involved in the proceedings.
