Meeting of the Caldwell Golf Board was held at �'airview Clubhoulte at
a�3� a.�. on March 13,1985.
Members Present: Council Bill Norman, Keith Stanwood, Jim Guy
Supt. Gordy Crockett, Jeff Rodwell, Les Summers, Scott H�lloway, Rick-
Sweaney, Martha Esson, Laura Ggmboa� Georgia Hersh, D� Nineman and past
President of Men's Association Lyn Aobinson.
Keith handed out the golf receipts for the month of February showing an
increase over last year- stating that we had a good Oct, and Navember.
Jeff.said the Jr. Elks Tournament would be held in June. Jeff stated that
play is pickin�? up now that the weather has turned nice. Jeff also had a
re�uest for a refund on a season ticket for Jim �c Beverl,y Palmer as she
had broken a leg and would be unable to use the ticket. They had not used
the ticket. The Board voted that this ref und be granted.
Bill Norman stated t�at we would get Revenue Sharing thru 86", he hoped
we could get �50,000 for clubhouse with matching funds.
Aick Sweaney said they have been working on clubhouse plans also that
the City �'ngineer has checked the building for sufficient footings, for
second story with reinforcements-also funds are available for restrooms
at Fairview with a lease purchase of�10.000-
Jim Guy reminded �ordy to havenonna send the bills to the High Schools.
Gordy said they had been sent.
Laura asked Gordy when the parking area behind the cart sheds was
to be taken care of - Gordy said as soon as the City Crews �ot around
it.
Laura asked Gordy to have the small sidewalk at Fairview taken care of
as soon as possible.
Les Summers asked if the City would object to funds beingron clubhouse
He said they could get the "!en's Association to get a committee workin�
on donations for a clubhouse.
Laura said that she and Les would �et together and send in the application
for the Caldwell Communit,y Foundation the project would be for a Pole Rence
along driving range to the Cart Shed,
With no further business meeting adjourned at 9:30 a.m.
