, CALDWELL GOLF BOARD MEETING
Meeting of the Caldwell Golf Board was held at City Hall on Oct.10,1990
at 8:00 a.m.
Members Present: Council-Liaison Bob Jarboe, Kris Inouye, Jim Guy,
Laura Gamboa,Rick Sweaney,Bob Sower, Pro John Watson
Pro Troy Vitek, Supt. Gordy Crockett.
Members Abs�nt: Ric Coles
Laura called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.and announced the next
meeting would November 14,1990.
Copies of the September meeting and golf receipts were handed to each
member.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Gordy Crockett gave the report on the cart paths and said they would
have the front nine finished this week, then they would start on the back.
Gordy said the cart shed had been painted and looked very nice same shade
as the new storage.
Gordy had a report from Bencharaft on the sale of the benches they would
cost $25.00 each this would be $500.00 for the benches,they would take the
ads off and use them on the new tee signs, but there could be no advertising
on the benches.
Gordy said Idaho Concrete will donate 30 ft of free concrete for the
extension of the outdoor patio thus being able to put over ten tables
with benches attached. Gordy preferred the metal ones.
Gordy stated that Tucker, would furnish the labor.
Bob Jarboe said he had spoken with John Murdoch and that John said he
would make a good deal on the benches.
Gordy , Laura and Bob Jarboe had looked over the Patio and decided with
the extension and also getting some type of lattice work in front of the
grill that it would be much better to keep out the sun , rain etc.
Gordy, Laura and Bob Jarboe met with Teri Brandt Ottens and discussed
about finishing the cart paths in one year. After going over the golf
budget Teri said we could borrow from the contingency Fund and pay back
with interest. With the approval of the Council-Bob to take care of this.
Gordy said they have ordered the 90° signs for the cart paths.
Troy Vitek, said at one time he had a party that was interested in doing
the cleaning at Fairview but that phone has beeen disconnected so he
still had to find someone.
Laura asked him to talk to Teri as she had mentioned that the city is
trying to �2� one firm to do all the city facilities.
Also Gordy was asked if Benchcraft will do Fairview, if so the Board
would like to see that done.

� John Watson said he didn't have much to report except that our year end
report was very g000d showing an increase of $87 72

John said the Sheriff came by and told him that it was against the law I
to have the cars parking next to the roads and that No Parking Signs
should be put up. ;

Kris Inouye said he had nothing to report.

Bob Sower nothing.
Bob Jarboe mentioned that the City has two old houses by the park to
trade or sell then maybe we could buy Dick Hurst out. Bob to check on
this.
The board was discussing the cart sheds and if and when we decide to
build another cart shed the board feels it would be cheaper to build
it ourselves.
With no further business meeting adjourned at 9:15 a.m.
