SPECIAL MEETING
OF
EXECUTIVE BOARD
Special Meeting of the Executive Board was held February 25,1991 at the
Elks, at noon.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the new cart storage, also a
look at the Tournaments and what is the fee.
The Board decided that the people waiting to get into the new cart sheds
should be charged a fee of $17.50 per month until they vacate the spot.
They will pay Jim McGarvin the $1500. for six years of storage, out of
that $300. goes to the City for each space.
The people on the waiting list to get in at the old cart storage will be
charged the $17.50 for each month thru Decenber, instead of the $200.
That way in January all billings will be the same.
The condition of the cart sheds was discussed and the Board feels that
with the increase in fees and cart storage the sheds should be swept out
once a week, there have been too many complaints about the cart sheds.
Board decided that names on the cart stalls will be printed so that we
know who has a space, this to be done as soon as names are available.
The Golf Board will tour both courses to see what has to be done and what
is to be added to the new budget.
When the weather warms up we will hold meetings at Purple Sage, then check
what has to be done for improvements.
According to the existing contract of John Watson he has control over both
golf courses, this should be taken care of ,paragraph 2 page one.
Troy Vitek his contract reads that he is responsible for the Fairview
course.date Dec.7,1987.
So both contracts need to be checked over.
Bob Sower mentioned that Troy had a request from a College Student about
the fee for his wife.
The board voted that she would be an add on at the price of $125.00 so
the fee would be $200 plus the add on.
Bob Sower made the motion that for year 1991 a special provision be that
a full time college student add on rate for a wife be $125.00 total $335.
Seconded by Bill Moad, motion carried.
The Board voted that a letter be sent to all cart storage rentals that
when they sell cart and space that they notify the City Clerk as to whom
the new owner is and with the proper address.
Tournaments was the other big discussion the only ones not paying green
fees are the ones sponered by the ladies and men's associations.
Bill Moad to check on these.
All the rest of the tournaments are to be charged green fees and that
means people with Season Tickets are to pay the green fees.
The green fees come out of Entry Fee.
The Pro should have complete breakdown of each tournament, number of
people playing-arnount of green fees- also date of tournament.

This way the Board knows how much is taken in by Tournament green fees
the people need to know this is how we have such a good year, that it
isn't just the season ticket holders that keep the course up.
Bill Moad said that the Idaho Open was not a part of the Men's Association.
There was some discussion on opening of Purple Sage, the board feels that
the clubhouse should be ready by the 1st of February in case we have a
very mild winter, and the course is playable.
More on this at the end of the season.
The Board wants to discuss with John about the downstairs as to how often
its used, etc, the rental- are we getting the use we should?
With no further business meeting adjourned at 1:30 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
