The meeting was called to order at Purple Sage Golf Course. Mayor Nancolas was
introduced and spoke to a group of 15 interested golfers. Mayor Nancolas discussed
all the issues that pertain to the operation of the two golf courses. At the end of
presentation Mayor Nancolas answered all the questions and took suggestions from
the golfers. It was a good session and everyone came away with a better
understanding of where we want to go with the courses and how things involving the
courses operate.
REPORT FROM KEN WHEELER: Winter maintenance of applying fungicide has
been completed at both courses.
REPORT FROM JOHN WATSON: Reports revenue is slightly down and thinks
the price of gasoline may be a factor. Suggested we consider a winter discount rate.
REPORT FROM LENNY STROUP: Reports revenue is also slightly down.
Fairview stayed open on Thanksgiving and had eleven green fees.

Refund Requests:
A letter from Vicki Luna was read requesting refund on her husbands unused season
pass. Bill Luna passed away September 30, 2007. George Scott moved we credit
Vicki with a prorated portion of a senior unrestricted pass. Georgia Hersh seconded
the motion. Motion carried. Credit of $230.00 will be at Purple Sage Golf Course.
A letter from Karen Hulme was read requesting that her 2008 season pass be prorated
to her because she can't play until May or June. Georgia made the motion to deny this
request as our credit/refund policy does not allow us to do so. George Scott seconded
the motion. Motion carried.
Meeting location change:
A suggestion was made to have the monthly meetings at Purple Sage Golf Course.
Dan Rowell made the motion to move the meeting place. Georgia Hersh seconded
the motion. Motion carried.
No meeting will be held in December and the January meeting will be held at Purple
Sage Golf Course.
Winter Rates:
Having a winter rate was discussed. Georgia Hersh moved we have a winter rate at
Purple Sage Golf Course good from December l until February 15 of $20.00 per
person. $13.00 green fee and $7.00 cart. George Scott seconded the motion. Motion
carried.
Ads will be put in both newspapers as soon as possible.
