Lenny Stroup (pi-o — Fairview)
Green fees are up over last year. Pass sales are slow, but comparable to past years.
Lenny presented pri.nted information dealing vvith the handling a f� (copies
will be made and avai.lable at both courses). Discussion dea,ling wi.th the success
af the $10 green fees ensueci — proceeds definitely up.
Ken Wheeler (Greens Superintendent)
Graffiti on bathrovm, at Fa�irview, has been rernoved. Trees have been removed at
P�rple Sage. There are svme iss�es wi�h the power (i.e. some outlets need to be re-
wired). Discussion about the pati.o area at Purple Sage evolved with the general
feeling being that eve�ythin.g 1S good. The cost of machinejry upkeep is gaing up at
an alarming rate — all aspects (fueI, etc.) are on the rise. Ken wants to lower the
arnount of grass maintained — expenses are becorni ���agea�le. 'The
utiliza.tion of county prisoners has been a tremendous success. George suggested
that employee �asses be offered to county sheri,ffpersQn���� �d �� subje�t was
argued against as individual rounds are already being provided. Ken suggested
that the high school programs need tv be cut back — a meeting v�it� #he coaches
was suggested (iterns for discussion — number of players that vvili be allowed to
play each day).
General Business:
Dia.ae E�dridge posed a questian regarding the cost of t}1e internet, and it's rnethod
of payment. Ken responded that his department pays 50%, the CMG�. pays 25°/a,
and the C�.GA pays 25%. Creraid Schroder expressed, for the record, tha.t th.e
Memorial Da.y Match Play Tournament topic rerna,in an open issue for further
conszderation.
