Meeting 4vas calied to order by Mayor Nancolas and rolI was taken.
The following agenda was discussed:
New Busutess:
1. Structure of the Caldwell Golf Board: The board serves as an advisory
�oard to the City Council. It consists of nine members, a chairman, vice
chairman, secretary, representatives of the men's and ladies association and
City Council.
2. Open Meetings Laws: All nn�eeting held �vill be open to the public. Meetings
svill held on the 3 Wednesday af April3une August November and
February at 5:00 am at city hall. A notice of tbe agenda lis#ing all items to be
discussed wi[l be posted prior to tE�e meeting and anyone wishing to address
the board on aay issue may do so by signing up �o speak on day of ineeting.

3. �udget: Revenue was disenssed at Iength. Maynr Nancolas noted we.could
not c�ntinne the way we are. Some changes �ave tu be rnade. Closing Purple
Sage during Decernber and January is one way ta save some operating
maney. After discussion ShsYley Akagi made t�e mation to close P�rple Sage
December 1`` to JaQUary 31 . Opening back up Fe�ruary l Wa11��
Hammons seconded the motion. Motion carried. A winter rate green fee
special was discussed. Karen Giardina made the motion to rua a$13.00
green fee Monday thru Friday and $18.00 green fees for the weekends and
holidays start�ng September 1�. Wally Hammons secor�ded the motion.

�. Advertisi�g; Shirley Akagi reported that she had two requests for
advertising, Both idcas were rejected 6y the board.

Fai�-view greens wfll be punched on August 25��'.
Report ,Tohn 'Watson & Lenny Stroc�g:
Both reported things are slow due to t�e weather being so hot and t1�e new
golf course opcning up and peapl� wanting to try it.
Old Business:
Monthly Board Meetings:
The Board was reminded that zs�e will only meet in the ma�tbs of April June
Auge�st 1\ a�d February. If there is a need additional meefings will be heid.

Electians will be held at the November meet�ng,
