1. Request for partial vacation of Calloway Ave. (Rick Sweaney)
Traffic Commission received the above request from Mr. Rick Sweaney. Mayor Nancolas
suggested supporting interest in developing this area noting that "Public to Private" vacation
can occur as long as it is in the greater interest and/ or benefit of the public. The Mayor felt
such may be the case in this situation. Items of possible concem would be undersized water
mains and buildings currently located in existing ROW.
The motion was made and the Traffic Commission agreed unanimously to have Gordon Law
send Mr. Sweaney a letter stating that the Traffic Commission is open to the idea but needs
 to see a plan.

2. Proposed changes to Arthur St. traffic between 10th gt'' Avenues.
Mr. Dennie Cannon submitted a proposal to the Traffic Commission to change the above
section of Arthur St. to a one-way, flowing into the downtown area. Mr. Cannon suggests
benefits of the proposed change would be more room for landscaping the Indian Creek
project, flowing trac into the downtown area, and reducing accidents associated with the
intersection at 10th and Arthur. Traffic Commission agreed the change would eliminate left
hand turn accidents from Arthur on to 10' The motion was made and the Traffic
Commission agreed unanimously to have Dennie "poll" surrounding property owners and
neighbors and report their input to the Traffic Commission.

3. Request for red curbs on 10 Elm.
Chelle Sperry of Caldwell Police department made the above request in response to
vehicles parking to close to the intersection causing vision obstruction. It was determined
the request pertains to an area previously voted by the Commission to become a"no
parking" area. Previous actions were pending notification from WVMC to proceed with
implementation. It was suggested Gordon Law contact VWMC about implementation and
Chief Sobba would verify that the previously voted on action would appease Chelle Sperry's
concerns.
