Old Business
Previous Meeting minutes were reviewed, a few action items remain.
New Business
1. "Dead End" sign request at Ray Ave. and Ross Ln.

Charles Anderson requested the above sign be installed in his neighborhood.
The motion was made and the Traffic Commission agreed unanimously to approve the
request. �

1�����#;�::;:����i:::i:� Follow up with Street Department to initiate recommendation.
2. Painted Curb on Cleveland Blvd near Gem In 8� Out.
It was brought to Tim King's attention that curbing at the intersection of 4� Street and
Cleveland had been painted red by someone other than the City of Caldwell. Mayor
Nancolas made the motion and Traffic Commission agreed unanimously to have Tim King
contact Gem In & Out and inform them of the proper procedure via the Traffic Commission
to request red curb painting and ask them to submit a request in writing to the Traffic
� Commission for review. The Traffic Commission will then review the situation and determine
if the red curbing may stay or needs to be removed.

3. Sherrie Pipken requested a Traffic Signal at Middleton & Ustick
Gordon Law shared correspondence befinreen himself and Ms. Pipken regarding the above
requested traffic signal. Traffic Commission discussed pros and cons of installing a tum
around to control traffic flow at the above intersection. The fire department made mention of
emergency vehicles ruining island curbs when maneuvering through round abouts in Boise.
It was suggested island be painted rather than actual. Gordon Law favors the islands being
"actual" as they are a refuge for pedestrians. Over all Traffic Commission is in favor of
further researchin� the use of round abouts.
