1. 4-Way Ustick/ Lake Intersection (Joyce Meyer)
A second letter was received from Joyce Meyers requesting the above intersection be made a
Four-Way Stop. Traffic Commission's response to Mrs. Meyer's first letter, May 2006, stated a
warrant study had been requested and results would be taken into consideration upon
completion.
It was the determination of the Traffic Commission to suggest Chief Sobba research accident
history and for Chairman Law to follow-up on the status of the previously requested warrant
study

warrant study.
2. Request for "Curve 20 mph" sign at Georgia 8� Spruce Streets (Glen Rockwell)
Mr. Rockwell incurred a motorcycle accident at the above intersection. After the accident Mr.
Rockwell contacted Gordon Reed, Street Superintendent, regarding a lack of signage at the
• intersection. Mr. Reed reviewed the site and then submitted the above request to the Traffic
Commission on behalf of Mr. Rockwell. Chairman Law also visited the site in question and
agreed additional signage is necessary. A motion was made and the Traffic Commission agreed
unanimously to,install appropriate signage according to MUTCD.

appropriate signage.
3. Request to review stop signs at North Lake Avenue and Cleveland Blvd.(Robert Culley)
Robert Culley submitted the above request along with photos of the signage in question. After
reviewing the photos, Chairman Law visited the site and found current signage questionable.
The Commission noted Cleveland Blvd. as shared responsibility with Idaho Transportation
Department (ITD). A motion was made and the Traffic Commission agreed unanimously to
forward to ITD the letter and photos received from Mr. Culley along with the City's possible
suggestions.

4. Post Office — Vision Triangle
When occupied, the first parking space on the Southwest corner of the intersection of 9 Avenue
and Main Street creates a vision triangle obstruction for persons utilizing the drive-through mail
box service.

remove parking space from vision triangle area.
The next Traffic Commission meeting is scheduled for March 5 at 10:30 am
