Stop sign Installation on Spruce Street Various Stop Sign installations were reviewed during the April Traffic Commission meeting. It was decided at the time that the intersections listed in the table below would be discussed when an application for development pertaining to that area was filed with P&Z. Brian Billingsley informed the Traffic Commission that such an application has been filed. Light Timing at 10 Avenue 8� Cleveland — Chief Sobba Commissioner Matt Bebe approached Chief Sobba with complaint of the above mentioned light causing lengthy back-ups on Cleveland Blvd. while cross traffic does not warrant the delay. Chairman Law explained available solutions as: 1. Steal "Green" time and add to predominant direction 2. Lengthen current cycle time A motion was made and the Traffic Commission agreed unanimously to request Brent Orton to study cycle times at the intersection in question and report back to the Traffic Commission. �����n�;,���nan,1.�� Request Brent Orton review cycle times 2. Request for "Dead End" Sign at Gossamer Court - Blackhawk Subdivision - Paul Tjelta In an effort to deter unnecessary traffic near his home, Mr. Tjelta made the above request. A motion was made and the Traffic Commission agreed unanimously to approve the request. R'�'quest staggered Stop Lines at 24 & Blaine — Chief Sobba There are two left turning lanes from 24 Avenue onto Blaine Street. Chief Sobba was • approached by a concerned citizen suggesting the Stop Lines be staggered at the above intersection to allow better vision for the inside turning lane. Chairman Gordon requested the request be tabled until June so a site visit could be conducted. i��t�q���b,,rcl�n Lati��;; Conduct site visit and review 4. Install Speed Limit signs on Georgia between Lincoln Street & Marble Front Road As a non-agenda item, the Mayor made the above request. The Mayor offered to pay for the signs out of his office's Community Relations fund due to on-going construction inconveniences that citizens living in the area have endured. A motion was made and the Traffic Commission agreed unanimously to approve the request.
