1. Request Speed Limit signs on KCID Road (Jay Ralphs)
Mr. Ralphs submitted a request to speed limit signs installed on the one mile section of KCID
Road between Hwy 20/26 and Linden Street. Speed limit signs previously posted by the County
along that section have been removed for unknown reason.
A motion was made and the Traffic Commission agreed unanimously to install 35 mph Speed
Limit signs along the above mention section of KCID.

2. Request Four-Way Stop at Linden Street and Middleton Road (Jay Ralphs)
Mr. Ralphs also requests the above intersection be made a 4-way Stop. Mr. Ralphs is of the
understanding that a signal is planned at that intersection but feels a 4-way is needed in the
interim.
After discussion the Traffic Commission requested Chief Allgood to research the accident
history at the above intersection and report back to the committee. A motion was made and
the Traffic Commission agreed unanimously to table the issue for further discussion at the
June meeting.

3. Request for a Vacation of R-O-W at 2620 Montana Avenue (Byron Blackburn)
During a Title search, it was revealed that the residence at 2620 Montana Avenue
encroaches in the Public R-O-W along Wilson Street. Mr. Blackburn is requesting vacation
of the R-O-W to resolve the issue, in turn making the house marketable.
Future road, sewer and utility service are of concern in the area mentioned. Details of a
previous vacation of R-O-W along Wilson Street increases the caution of the Traffic
Commission in recommending approval of this request to Council. Though all are familiar
with the area, it was agreed that site visits and further investigation are necessary before
making a recommendation to Council.
A motion was made and the Traffic Commission agreed unanimously to table the issue until the
June meeting.
` c „ Communicate the decision of the TC to Mr. Blackburn
The next Traffic Commission Meeting will be June 2nd, 2008 @ 10:30 in the Mayors
conference room.
