Request Crosswalk at South Kimball & Paynter Ave. (Leslie Lindauer) The intersection indicated in the above request is complicated by design. Brent Orton of the Engineering department reviewed the above intersection and concluded that the unique geometry and control pattern of the intersection requires greater driver attention and consequently discourages a crosswalk at that intersection for reasons of safety. A motion was made to decline the petitioners request for a crosswalk at the above intersection and research alternative locations, the Traffic Commission agreed unanimously. ���,��No action required. 2. Request Four-Way Stop at Lake Avenue and Ustick Road (Jerry Nilsson) Mr. Nitsson requested that the above intersection be made a 4-way Stop. An accident history report was obtained by Chief Allgood and a summary study was done of the intersection by Engineering. Information gathered warrants a four-way stop at the above location. A motion was made and the Traffic Commission agreed unanimously to proceed with implementing a 4-way Stop at that location along with rumble strips. ������`���t"���i�t�:'Request the Street department implement the above recommendation. New Business 1. Request to dedicate a portion of Charmae Street as right-of-way (R-O-W) to the City. (Cheri Moore, Eckhardt Family Limited Partnership) Cheri Moore, representing the Eckhardt Family Limited Partnership requests to dedicate a portion of Charmae Street R-O-W to the City. Dave Marston reviewed all documents received pertaining to the R-O-W dedication and recommends the City accept the R-O-W as outlined. A motion was made to proceed with accepting the offered R-O-W. ������������Request Dave Marston to proceed with accepting the R-O-W. 2. Added Item: Unlawful signage on Cleveland Blvd. (Brent Orton) Signs are placed on the Flahiff Funeral Chapel frontage of Cleveland Blvd in the R-O-W. Such signage is unlawful without permitting from ITD. Engineering will follow-up with ITD regarding permitting. �..����.����������Request Brent Orton follow-up with ITD. The next Traffic Commission Meeting will be August 4th, 2008 @ 10:30 in the Mayors conference room.
