1. Request for "Speed bumps and/ or Stop Signs" and install "Traffic Light at
Linden and 10 (Joe Grover)
Mr. Grover believes people are "cutting through" the Willow Falls subdivision at high
rates of speed to avoid traffic delays at the Linden and 10 Street intersection. For
this reason he makes the above request.
While the City does not allow speed bumps on City streets due to the hazards and
delays they create for emergency response vehicles, a project is currently under
way to install a traffic signal at the above mentioned intersection. It is necessary
for irrigation water in the vicinity to be absent before Signal installation can
begin. Signal installation is scheduled to begin at the start of the "Irrigation
off season" and expected to be complete in approximately four months. In
the interim, the Caldwell Police Department will set-up the "Speed Wagon"
in the Wi(low Falls area to deter speeding.

The next Traffic Commission Meeting will be September 1st, 2008 @ 10:30 in
the Mayors conference room.
