ITEMS COVERED;
1. Airport Commission called to order by Bob McGee at 12:05 PM.
2. Approved the minutes for May 2003 meeting was approved. Since a quorum was
not present5 this was not a legal meeting.
3. Tom Lemenager from T-O Engineering gave a report on possible future FAA
Airport Improvement Project (AIP) on possible future FAA projects for the
Caldwell Airport. Tom stated that a Scope of Work need to be completed so an
application for funding in FY 2004. Items discussed for Scope of Work are:
o Mid field t�iway.
o Security of airport property in fencing and gates.
o Taxiway and runway lighted signage.
o Helicopter pad.
The amount of AIP grant for FY 2004 is $800,000. of which the FAA will fund
90%.

• Future FAA AIp grants are:
FY 2005 $ 500,000.
FY 2006 $1,000,000.
4. Curt Hawkins reported that T-O Engineering has been selected as the Engineering
firm for professional services.
5. Curt gave a report on the trip to Walla Walla, Washington airport as they just
completed construction of a new terminal building.
