• ITEMS COVERED:
1. Airport Commission called to order by Bob McGee at 12:05 PM.
2. Approved the Airport Commission minutes for May 2004.
3. Tom Lemenager and Curt Hawkins gave a report on the FAA meeting held in
Seattle on June 3 to present Caldwell Airport future expansion plans and the
needs required to accomplish the expansion.
4. Discussion on the location of a new restroom. It is the opinion that the new
restroom be located at or adjacent to the terminal building. Additional
information is required as the best cost benefit before a final decision can be
made.
5. Airport AIP:
5.1 Tom Lemenager (T/O) presented an update on the 04 AIP. The bid
opening is scheduled for June 17
5.2 Bob McGee prepared a draft on how the gate cards will be issued. The
• decision is to go with a simple gate card and probably will have to be
modified to conform to new Transportation Security Administration

"Security Guidelines for General Airports" Dated May 2004. A copy of
• the proposed airport gate card attached for review.
6. A pilots meeting will be schedule to inform pilots of the airport construction the
will be taken place this summer. A date will be established after the pre-
construction meeting sometime early July.
7. The "Flying J" sign has to be moved. The proposed new location may or may not
protrude into the air zone depending on slope (34:1 or 50:1) and future runway
extension. The airport manager and commission members need to be informed
and be present at any all public hearing(s).
8. Airport Commission Meeting adjourned at 1:30 PM.
Next airport commission meeting: July 8, 2004 at 12 Noon.

• AIRPORT GATE CARDS
1. Gate card to aircraft hanger owner of record:
2. For renter or lessee of aircraft hanger and aircraft mechanics — To obtain a gate
card to renter or mechanic must show:
2.1 Pilot License or aircraft mechanic license.
2.2 A government issued photo ID. (Driver license, Passport etc.)
3. Cost per card:
3.1 First card: Free
3.2 Second card or replacement card $25.00 ea.
3.3 Replacement card for fair ware and tare Free
4. Aircraft owners using the tie down area. Use key pad gate at terminal building.
5. Gate card expiration time - 1 year — As per TSA guidelines for GA Airports.
6. Construction gate - As per TSA guidelines for GA Airports.
