CALDWELL PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE HEARING EXAMINER
• MINUTES
January 28, 2004
I. Call to Order — Hearing Examiner, M. Jerome Mapp, opened the meeting for the
public hearing at 7:00 p.m.
II. Review of Proceedings — Mr. Mapp outlined the procedures for the public
hearing.
Members Present: Steve Hasson, Community Development Director, Debbie
Geyer, and Scott Woods, Engineering staff.
III. Old Business
The Hearing Examiner approved and signed minutes of October 29, 2003.
IV. Hearings -
A. Case No. SUP-204-03, approval of two special use permits to allow
residential use in a C-3 (Service Commercial) zoned parcel and a semi-public
use. The parcel is located southwest of Cleveland Boulevard, adjacent to the
north side of Laster Lane and abuts the Notus Canal and Charmae Springs
• Subdivision.
Testimony:
Steve Hasson, Community Development Director, presented the staff report.
Gary Hall, Applicant's Representative, requested a continuance of the hearing
due to recent information that has temporarily restricted the purchase of
Charmae Springs Phase III which is contiguous to the site property. Mr. Hall
stated that the Applicant was anticipating the matter to be resolved within thirty
days.
Jerome Mapp, Hearing Examiner, announced that the hearing would be
continued to the regularly called public hearing on Wednesday, February 25,
7:00 p.m. at the Caldwell Police Department Community Room.
Franklin Stafford, signed in opposition, stated he would return on February 25.
Public testimony closed — Mr. Mapp closed public testimony.
