Jerome Mapp, opened the meeting for the public hearing at 7:00 p.m. II. Review of Proceedings — Mr. Mapp outlined the procedures for the public hearing. Members Present: Steve Hasson, Community Development Director and Debbie Geyer, and Scott Woods, Engineering staff. III. Old Business Approve & signed minute of July 30, 2003. IV. Hearings - A. Case No. SUB-71 PE-02 (Aspens Subdivision), a request by Crestline Development, LC Heartland Development, LLC and for a one-year extension of the preliminary plat granted by City Council on September 16, 2002. The subdivision consists of 394 residential and 8 common area • lots on approximately 100 acres in an R-1 zone. The site is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Homedale Road and Florida Avenue. Testimony: Steve Hasson, Community Development Director, presented the staff report. Rita Earl, Representative; testified in favor. Jeff Scott, Representative from Pioneer Irrigation, testified neutral. Public testimony closed — Mr. Mapp closed public testimony. Findings of Fact on Case No. SUB-71 PE-02: The Hearing Examiner accepted the general facts as outlined in the staff report. Conclusions of Law on Case No. SUB-71PE-02: The Hearing Examiner accepted the Conclusions of Law as outlined in the staff report. Order of Decision on Case No. SUB-71 PE-02: The Hearing Examiner approved Case No. SUB-71 PE-02 with the conditions outlined in the staff report. • Public Hearing Closed - Mr. Mapp closed the public hearing. ..................................................................� , B. Case No. SUB-72PE-02 (Cedars Subdivision), a request by Crestline Development, LC Heartland Development, LLC and for a one-year extension of the preliminary plat granted by City Council on September 16, 2 002. The s ubdivision c onsists o f 414 r esidential a nd 1 5 c ommon area lots on approximately 117 acres in an R-1 zone. The site generally lies between the south side of Homedale Road, the west side of Florida Avenue and the north side of future Moss Lane. In addition, the second parcel is generally located at the southeast corner of the intersection of S. Indiana Avenue and future Moss Lane, and extends south and east approximately'/ mile. Case No. SUP-194-03, a request by the Caldwell Seventh-day Adventist Church for special use permit approval of an existing church with related uses and activities. The site is located at the southeast corner of the intersection o f L inden S treet a nd I ndiana Avenue o n a pproximately 3.9 acres in an R-2 zone. Testimony: Steve Hasson, Community Development Director, presented the staff report. Scott Woods, Engineering Department, presented facts concerning street improvements. • John Bryson, Applicant, testified in favor. Joyce Griffith, Representative, testified in favor.
