Marty Koch called the meeting to ord2r. Paul Collins moved,
seconded by Mack Kr2is2:.b2ck to approve the minut2s as
presented. Motion carried.
A flyer was pass2d out to th� Airport Cc.;,�issior� requ2sting
the city to install asphalt on lot 2 because due to legal
technicaliti�s the tenants are unabl2 to g�t financir�� for
furthzr d2velopment.

carri�d. Paul Collins moved, seconded by Esther Stoddard
for the Citg to a�4 as a financing ag�nt for �mprovements on
leas�d properties witr. an agre2sn2nt that is mutually
acc2ptabl� to 3essor and the city. Motio�. carrie3. Tr�e

1) He r.ad attende3 a:� air�art grar,t me2ting with the Bur2au
of Aeronautics. Th2y would �ik� input from aviators or, the
most acceptaul2 way to �rir�g in �r�or� yrar�t mcr.2y. It is
airport grant money which takes matching fu�d, usually '
50150, that is statewide. '
2} The Campbell propert� auctio� will be �ctob2r 16th, 7:30,
at City Hall. Thz house is appraised at $30,000.00, the
sr,op at $',000.00 and th� storag2 tank a� b2st cff�r. If
therz are no bids the prop2rty can be sald ir� the b2st
ir�t�rzst o� the ci4y. The money will go back into t;e
, grant fund.

$20,000.00 proj2ct.

8) �aul Collins moved, s�conded by Bud Kehne to rzmov2 th2
fire insurance claus� from the lease. Fir� insurar�ce for
�rivat2 hanger wo41d not be required. Th� r�quir2ment wi�l
be in the evsr�t of a fire th� lease would b� required ta
have deb�is removed wit;in 90 days or t�� City would do it
and charge the property lessor. Mation passe�.
9) Jerry att�r�d�� a Caldwzll Eccnamic DEV�lopment task forc�
meeting. John Hoehne, director of CE�P has stated part of
the plan to d�velop Caldwell was to d�v�lop and advertis�
the airport. He will invit� John to the r��xt Commissior.

into the program.
Mack Kreiser,b2ck r�ported to thc Commissior� �r �is plar.s tc
lease property from the airport to build a har�g2r with 6
bays. It would be 200' x 32' and built to �natch existing
buildings. Hz would build next spring. Mack stated he
wanted a 4� year leas2 with an cNtion to ��n2w and
renegotiate. Esther Utoddard maved, secon3ed by Paul
Collins to approve the l�ase.
