CALDWELL AIRPORT COMMISSION
January 4, 1990
Present: Marty Koch, Esther Stoddard, Bob McGee, Jerry
Olson, and Kathie Green.
The meeting was called to order by Marty Roch. It was noted
there were not enough members present to form a quorum.
Jerry Olson report:
The council Liaisons to the commission are Jack Raymond &
Garret Nancolas.
Paul Collins had been appointed to the commission. His term
will be until April 1993.
The Campbell property is being handled well by City crews.
The powerlines will be taken down all the way back to the
original taxi-way. Idaho Power will pay to have this done.
Mel Lewis has been appointed interim City Engineer.
Complimented Jim & Anita Shore for their lighted airplane
during the Christmas season. There was a picture of it in
the Idaho-Press Tribune.
The City Council will be invited to tour the airport.
The airport survey is being done. It will be done on the
private business side first and the industrial side will be
done after the other side is finished.
There is a possibility the Ustick interchange is on the
State Transportation program.
Avid is negotiating with Nampa for a building to do research
and development.
Jerry Wilda and Chuck Palmer with Idaho Transport, Inc. are
moving to the Nampa airport. Pat Palmer's hangers will be
f or rent .
Clyde Ritter is buying AMCI. Esther Stoddard moved,
seconded by Bob McGee to approve a sub-lease drawn up using
the same wording as AMCI's. Marty Roch will telephone the
commission for a vote.
Approval of December 7, 1989 minutes will be done by a
telephone vote.

John Piekarski has bought hanger #18 from Bob Madden. Bob
McGee moved, Esther Stoodard seconded to approve a standard
hanger iease for hanger #18. A telephone vote will be
taken. A standard hanger lease will be drawn up.
Clyde Ritter was the business spot-lite for January. In the
past he has flown crop dusters and for the airlines. Clyde
has redesigned and developed an aircraft cam that has world
wide fame and has purchased AMCI at the Caldwell Airport.
Esther Stoddard will need to be replaced on the commission.
Lee Rice stated he felt the commission needs more input from
people leasing at the airport alsv stating he would like to
serve as a commissianer. It will be discussed at the next
meeting the commission's recommendations for a new
commissioner.
On January 10, 1990 a vote was taken by telephone on motions
to approve a sub-lease for Clyde Ritter who is buying AMCI�
to approve the December 7, 1989, minutes and to approve a
standard hanger lease for John Piekarski on hanger #18.
Motions carried.
Meeting adjourned.
