AIRPORT COMMISSION
January 3, 1991
Present: Marty Koch, Dean Dishman, Budd Kehne, Mack
Kreizenbeck and Bob McGee.
The Meeting was called to order by Marty Koch at 12:05 p.m.
The minutes of the December 6, 1990 meeting were approved.
Marty Koch reported that the City had received a grant for
Airport construction in the amount of $470,000. This was the
result of the pre-application submitted to the F.A.A. last
spring.
A request from Shore and Shore Aviation to lease industrial
lots # 13 and # 14 was discussed. It was MOVED and approved to
ask the Shores for more information concerning development and
timing for development on these lots prior to approving the
Lease. Marty Koch will coordinate with the Shores on this
information.
John Blaye, Caldwell Economic Development, discussed future
development plans for the City and the Caldwell Airport. the
need for better Airport access from the freeway was discussed as
was the development of an Airport marketing plan. Mr. Blaye
suggested that a feasibility study of an interchange or access
road would be a good starting point. This study to be
accomplished by an engineering firm.
