, AIRPORT COMMISSION
October 3, 1991 - 12:00 Noon
Present: Marty Koch, Chairman; Dean Dishman, Budd Kehne, Dr.
McLaughlin, Garret Nancolas and Jack Pearson.
The min►u�e� of the September 5, 1991, meeting were approved.

The Air�� ��rt��er discussed:
1. Ths� Airport Open House on October 12, 1991.
Preparations are going well.
2. The Airport Zmprovement Pro�ect. Phase A and B should
be completed on October 4th. The PAPI Pro�ect is awaiting
equipment.
3. The Precision Flight clean up
� • Some material has been transported to E.S.I. A meeting
will be held with,the State to reach agreement on disposition of
the remaining excavated material.
4. The Commercial lot sewer proj'ect.
Bid�s will be opened on October 4, 1991, and the
� contract will be awarded on October 7, 1991.
The Commission approved a motion to change the Keunzli Lease
to Keunzli and Hemphill. (The Airport Manager was advised later
in the day that Mr. Keunzli and Mr. Hemphill no longer desire
this change).
The Commission approved the sub-lease of office space from
AVJET Aviation to Flite Quest.
Gary Vezzoso, from the City of Caldwell Traffic Commission,
discussed the plans for working with the Department of
Transportation to install a freeway interchange at Ustick Road as
well as other pro�ects. He stressed the need for this
interchange and a road system on the Airport side of the Freeway.
Mr. Vezzoso also stressed the need for all interested parties to
present a unified position in their effo=t to accomplish these
pro�ects. The Airport Commission expressed support for the
Traffic Commission and their objectives.
The meeting sd�ourned at 1:00 p.m, after which some of the
members toured the Airport Pro�ect with the Airport Manager.
