The Meeting was called to order by Marty Koch at 12:00 p.m. The minutes of the October 1, 1992 meeting were approved. Mr. Cole Smith of Fliteline Systems advised the Commission of his company' s interest in building hangars in the area northwest of the ramp. This is the area programmed for taxiway construction in the spring of 1993. Fliteline Systems proposes building one full row of hangars initially with a short term option on the other two rows. The Commission advised Mr. Smith that they were interested, but could not commit to anything until a formal grant offer for the taxiway construction is received. Mr. Smith said that Fliteline Systems would consider doing the site work and building the taxiways themselves if the grant is not received. They would want compensation for this in the form of rent adjustments, etc. The Airport Manager reported that: 1. The City Council has approved the rezoning of Lots 2-5 of the Aviation Way Subdivision from M-1 to C-3. 2. The restaurant dishwasher has been adjusted and hopefully will not have to be replaced. 3. The City Council has approved the use of H.U.D. funds in the amount of $27,653 to fund the City's portion of a natural gas line installation for the Airport area. 4. A successful open house was conducted by AVJET Aviation on October 24, 1992. 5. Larry Bledsoe, the Nampa City Engineer, is working for the City of Caldwell two days per week for a couple of months until a new City Engineer is hired. 6. The City Council has approved the Airport Lease with Acarregui and Baker for Lots 18-21 at the Airport. 7. The Highland Appraisal Office has been located on the south side of Aviation Way as has the Claircom telephone equipment and antenna site. 8. The Chamber of Commerce has taken over the Air-A-Fair. The tentative dates for next year are 13th or 20th of June.
