AIRPORT COMMISSION
November 5, 1992
Present: Marty Koch, Chairman; Dean Dishman, Budd Kehne, Dr.
McLaughlin and Jack Pearson.
The Meeting was called to order by Marty Koch at 12:00 p.m.
The minutes of the October 1, 1992 meeting were approved.
Mr. Cole Smith of Fliteline Systems advised the Commission of
his company' s interest in building hangars in the area northwest of
the ramp. This is the area programmed for taxiway construction in
the spring of 1993. Fliteline Systems proposes building one full
row of hangars initially with a short term option on the other two
rows. The Commission advised Mr. Smith that they were interested,
but could not commit to anything until a formal grant offer for the
taxiway construction is received. Mr. Smith said that Fliteline
Systems would consider doing the site work and building the
taxiways themselves if the grant is not received. They would want
compensation for this in the form of rent adjustments, etc.
The Airport Manager reported that:
1. The City Council has approved the rezoning of Lots 2-5 of
