AIRPORT COMMISSION
June 3, 1993 _
Present: Marty Koch, Chairman; Dean Dishman; Bob McGee; Dr.
McLaughlin; Jack Pearson; Jack Raymond and Bob Renfro.
The meeting was called to order at 12:05 p.m. The minutes of
the May 6, 1993 meeting were approved.
The Airport Manager reported that:
1. Construetion has begun on the taxiway project.
2. Th� City is,advertis,ing far a consultant to
update the Airport Master Plan. This update
has been recommended by tk�e F.A.A. and will' be ;
a grant project. The Commission selected Dr.,
M�Laughlin and Bob McGee. to serv.e on the
selection panel. _
3:. Preparations:for the Air June 26 and 27
continue.
4; He will be leaving the manager'.s job on ,July
, 16, 19�3 . The City . is : in �the �roce:sS of
selectirig a new manager.
The Commission agreed to send a letter to the F.A-.A. in
support of. the propos.ed aerobatic box in the vicinity, of. the
Caldwell Airport. This letter was r�quested by the F.A.A. :"
The Commission approved hangar ground leases withc
1. Moffat for existing Hangar No. 14.
2. Drinkard for Aviation Way Subdivision No, 2,
Block 3, Lot 1-4.
3. Moffat fQr Aviation Way, SubdiviSion No. 2,
Bl.ock 3; Lot 5'-8.
4. Kuenzl.i'for Aviation Way Subdivision No. 2;
Block 3,; Lot 9-�.6:
The Commission approved an extension on the building
completion time for Acarregui/Baker on Lots 18-21 from December,
1993, to June 1, 1994, provided that the.foundation is completed by
December. This will require City Council approval.
The Commission approved a sequest by Skydive Idaho ta paint
their leased building and to paint a sign on it provided it is.done
in accordance with City Planning and Zoning directives.
The Commission approved a sub-lease from Skydive Idaho to Lee
Rice for space to store and restore his T-33.

Keith Eisberg briefed the Commission on the skydiving'
operations conducted so far.
Gary Wey briefed the Commission on his XP Talon project.
The next meeting was set for July 8, 1993. This is the SECOND
THURSDAY IN JULY." :
