Minutes
February lst, 1994
, Present: Dean Dishman, Bob Renfro, Bob McGee, Dr. Roy
McLaughlin, Phil Fouts along with FBO operators
Lee Rice and Jim Metzger. Bill Statham of
Toothman-Orton was also present.
The meeting was called to order by acting chairman Bob McGee
at 12:04. The minutes of the January meeting were approved
as mailed. Items discussed included:
1. The commission expressed appreciation for the cleanup
and new carpet that u�as installed during the past week.
The commission agreed that the fireplace and temporary
walls should be removed. Bob Renfro offered tHio men, at
no charge, for a day to help on this project. The
commission voted to accept the no-charge offer.
2. Bill Statham explained the options available for building
more hangars on the last taxiway north of the original
group of hangars near the west end of the airport.
3. The airport manager a�as instructed to contact all
prospective builders, get them together for a meeting,
and explore the possibility of doing thr project as
a group. This would save them money and insure a properly
engineered group of hangars.
4. The commission agreed that there was no need to annex
the Hoyt property into the city at this time.
5. The commission moved in favor of recommending the
Middletion interchange. Chairman Marty Koch will
represent the commission's vieui in this matter.
As there were no other items introduced, the meeting was
adjourned by acting chairman Bob McGee at 12:59.
