Those Present Were:

Koch, commission members Dean Dishman, Bob McGee and Bud
Kehne. Also present were FBO Lee Rice, Jim and Anita Shore of
Shore & Shoe Aviation, Instructor Bill Hinkle, Kevin Purdy
and Randy Wilkins of SkyDive Idaho, Elaine Carpenter from
the City Council, Nancy Huff, Planning & Zoning director and
Ken Mann, the Mayor s assistant.
The meeting aias called to order by chairman Marty Kr°,ovedtas
12:08. The minutes of the previous meeting were app
mailed.
The manager's report included: 1) An update on our recently
received FAA grant for runway/taxiway rehab. 2) That the
numbering and lettering has, for the most part, been
completed. 3) That all but one of the flush fire hydrants
and now usable. From the agenda:
. The commission approved the cancellou°nand approvednthe
lease held by the Idaho Pathology g p
leasing of said property to Drake Machanical, Inc.
2. The request for a drain field for the Phil Fouts hangar
was tabled. The commission determined it would be
workable for some tenants but not all. As there is a
possibility of a new terminal building in the future,
it was felt that a 24-hour rest room in the new terminal
would be more practical for tenants of private hangars.
3. The also requested that the cost and feasibility of
shade hangars - city or privately financed - be
explored by the manager.
With no other items to discuss, the meeting adjourned at
12:58.

Caldwell Industrial Airport
Commission Meeting
November 2nd, 1995
Another month has slipped by and the year is getting close
to being over. Make a mark on your calender for a noon
meeting of the Caldaell Industrial Airport on Thursday,
November 2nd. As always, lunch will be available for those
wishing to eat. Items of interest will include:
1. The manager's report to bring you up to date on
everything left over from the last meeting.
2. Phil Fouts, of our own airport commission, would
like to re-open the discussion regarding toilets
in private hangars.
3. The growth of the airport has brought an increase
in ground traffic of both airplanes and automobiles.
The increase in vehicle traffic has raised a concern
for safety and liability on the ramp. Please find
time before the meeting to read the enclosed auto
parking rules. We will make corrections, if needed,
before we cast them in stone.
4. Wayne Pickerill, of the Sate Board of Aeronautics,
will make a visitation. He has no planned agenda but
will be happy to receive questions regarding the
State's involvment with our airport.
5. Toothman-Orton's Bill Statham will be here to talk
the state of our Master PLan.
