Caldwell Industrial Airport Commission:
My term as Airport Commissioner expires 12-31-96. After 12 years and 8 months or (152 regular
meetings) plus all the sub-committee meetings, I am resigning as commission member effective
end of 1996.
This has not been an easy decision to reach; I am very proud of what has been accomplished at
the Airport, by this commission. When I was appointed to the Commission the airport rules
stated "Right turn immediately after take-offto avoid the hospital".
Things have changed over the years: We have written and completed one master plan. Most all
of the land has been leased out and the new master plan is being printed which will provide us
guidance for the next 20 years.
My main goal for the Airport has and is to have it self supporting and with the foresight of this
commission, I believe this can be accomplished! It has been a� and an honor to work with all
of you! ! I look forward to the great things that will happen at the airport and in our city.
