Commission Meeting Minutes
Those in attendance were Dean Dishman, Dr.Roy McLaughlin and
Phil Fouts of the commission. Also present were Wayne
Pickerill of the State Board of aeronautics, George
Eldridge, Bill Hinkle, Ron Pollach, Brian Corey, Bill
Statham and airport manager Jack Pearson.
Not having enough commission members to form a quorum, the
meeting vias deemed unofficial and proceeded to pass along
information only. Items that were discussed included.
1. A need for more sweeping and cleaning of taxia�ays and
runways.
2. The Moffat hangars under construction u�ere leaving quite
a mess on the taxiways. The manager uras asked to pursue
solutions to both items 1 and 2.
3. Most of the time was spent discussing the possibility of
airport groa�th on the North side of the field. Bill
Statham of Toothman-Orton explained that this is
included in the new Master Plan and is still a few years
away. It was also noted that several new areas u�ithin the
airport will soon be open pending FAA approval.
4. The meeting concluded with Wayne Pickerill's presentation
of the paper a�ork for a State grant of $16,155.95. The
next step is the formal acceptance of the grant by the
Calda�ell City Council.
The meeting adjourned at 12:50.
