Re: Regular Commission Meeting November 5th, 1998
It's almost time to start talking turkey so put the date of
November 5th on your list and be here for the next to the last
meeting of 1998. Meet at high noon in the manager's office and
we'll make note of the following:
1. Approve a cancellation of the existing lease between
the city and AVJET Aviation which includes ramp and
city owned buildings.
2. Approve leases for the following:
a) New lease for AVJET Aviation for fuel area, sign and
ramps area approximately 200 X 144 ft.
b) New lease for Verde Aviation, Inc., who will operate
the Pilot Shop, an aviation training facility and the
UNICOM 7 days a week, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
c) A new lease for Cock-Of-The Walk Restaurant.
d) A new lease for Hinkle Aviation.
c) A new lease for Aero-Flite, Inc. Office.
d) A new lease for ICARUS, Inc. Aircraft Maintenance bldg.
e) A new lease for residence occupied by Jim Raeder.
Note: With the exception of the lease for Verde Aviation, Inc., all
of the above leases have been the responsibility of AVJET Aviation.
The cancellation and new leases will go into effect January lst,
1999. All documents are being inspected by the city attorney and
will be submitted to the city council for final approval when
ready.
