Members of the commission could not remember getting the minutes of the previous meeting so no action was taken on the March minutes. ( Tony Elordi called later to say found his copy of the March minutes so everyone should have received them.) Items from the agenda that were discussed included: 1. Loralee Gray of Silverhawk Aviation told about their helicopter operation and noted they plan to build a new facility on the field as soon as land becomes available. The commission gave them a hearty welcome as a new business on the field. 2. Jerry Wilda told the commission he was moving his entire operation from Nampa to the Caldwell Airport. This would ultimately bring around thirty (30) airplanes to Caldwell. He will also bring air taxi and several other needed operations to Caldwell. His location will depend on the availability of the pilot shop area now leased by Boyd Newhouse. 3. Boyd Newhouse introduced himself to the commission and announced that he had applied for the position of airport manager. The commission regarded him as well well qualified. Should he be appointed, he would assign his location to Wilda. 4. The manager reported that we will have a new restaurant operator May 1 St . That the current AIP project is scheduled for completion mid-May. That construction of the new facility for CADY Industries was underway. CONTINUED 4 April Minutes Page 2. 5.
