HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 2863BILL NO. 4 ORDINANCE NO. 2863 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN AMENDED ZONING MAP THAT SUPERSEDES AND REPLACES THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ADOPTED BY THE CITY OF CALDWELL ON MARCH 15, 2010= WHEREAS, The City of Caldwell is responsibly updating all codes and ordinances; and WHEREAS, The City of Caldwell has identified the properties in this ordinance as appropriate for keeping zoning information current for all citizens and property owners; and WHEREAS, The City of Caldwell has determined that it is in the best interests of the City to update its zoning map; and WHEREAS, The City has held a public hearing on the proposed changes on March 21, 2011; and WHEREAS, The City Council has reviewed all evidence and testimony submitted at the City of Caldwell hearings. NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY OF CALDWELL ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Caldwell Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on February 8, 2011 for Case No. OA- 139 -11 adoption of an amended zoning map as adopted by City Council on March 15, 2010. At said hearing, the Planning and Zoning Commission forwarded their recommendation onward to the Mayor and City Council that the City adopt the amended map, and that the map include the following statement: "This is to certify that this amended zoning map supersedes and replaces the official zoning map adopted by the City of Caldwell by Ordinance No. 2823 on March 15, 2010." Section 2. That the amended zoning map includes all rezones and annexations that occurred between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010. Said rezones and annexations received City Council approval at respective hearings held between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010. Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication, according to law.
