That the City of Caldwell hereby sets aside for the establishment, construction and operation, as a part of the parking; system of the City of Caldwell, for a Municipal Golf Course, the following described property, sit- uated in Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho, to -wit: Lots One (1), Two (2), Three•(3), Four (4), Five (5) Six (6), Seven (7), Eight (8), Dine (9), Ten (10j, Thirteen (13), Fourteen (14), Fifteen (15), Sixteen (16), Seventeen (17), Eighteen (18), Nine- teen (19)', Twenty (20), Twenty -one (21), Twenty - two (22), Twenty -three (23), Twenty -four (24), Block One Hundred. Five (105); of Block One Hundred Six (106); and Lots One (1), Two (2) Three (3), Four (4), Five (5), Six (6), Seven (7), Eight (8), Nine (0) Ten (10), Eleven (11), Twelve (12), Seven- teen (17j, Eighteen (18), Nineteen (19), Twenty (20), Twenty -one (21), Twenty-two (22), Twenty - theee (23), and Twenty -four (24), Block One Hund- red.Eight (108), Goandu Addition to Caldwell, Idaho, as shown by the plat thereof now on file in the office of the Recorder of Canyon County, Idaho;. loll of Block One (1); Lots One (1) Two (2), Three (3),.Four (4), Five (5) and Six'(6 % Block Two (2); Lots One (1), Two (2), Three (3), Four (4), Five (5), and Six (6), Block Four (4); and Lots One (1), Two (2), Three.(3), Four (4) Five (5), Six (6), and Seven (7), Block Five (5j, Arlington Addition to Caldwell, Idaho; as shown by the plat thereof now on file in the office of the Recorder of Canyon County, Idaho; Lots Nine (9) and Ten (10), Fairacres Addition to Caldwell, Idaho, as shown by the plat thereof now on file in the office of the recorder'of Canyon County, Idaho. Die Sec. 2. That the 1. Golf Course provided for in Sec. 1 hereof shall be known as the "Caldwell municipal Golf Course . re Sec. 3. That the government of the Kunicipal Golf Course shall be under a Board of Control, consisting of five members appointed by the Mialor, with. the consent of the Council, from among, the citizens of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, one of which members shall be appointed from the City Council. The other four members shall be appointed from arlong the citizens of the City of Caldwell who are golf players, or are interested in golf, all of whom shall act without salary. Sec. 4. That the term of the respective members of such board of control so appointed shall be as follows: The member appointed from the City Council shall serve for a period of two years, or until the end of his term as a Council member. The remaining four members shall be s.p- pointed for a period of four years, except that those who are appointed for the first time shall serve for a period as follows: One member shall be appointed.for a period of one year; one member for a period of two gears; one member for a period of three years; and one member for a period of four years, from their date of appointment. ,311 vacancies in the said board by reason of removal, resignation or death shall be reported to the City Council by said board, and shall be filled by appointment in the same manner as appointments were originally made, for the unexpired term of the person whose terns had expired by reason of re- ' moval, resignhtion or deatho -2- Sec. 5. That the said Board of Control shall immiediat-ely following their appointment meet for organization, by the election of one of their members as Chairman, and by the selection and appointment of such other officers and employees as they may deem necessary. Sec. 6. The board shall adopt a schedule of fees for the use of the Golf Course, and make and publish such rules and regulations for the care, maintenance and operation of the Municipal Golf Course as may be expedient, subject, never- theless, to the approval of the Mayor and Council of the City ;!I of Caldwell. Sec. r. And that, not later than the first day of June of each year, the board of control must submit to the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell an itemized, de- tailed annual budget for the estimated expenses for the en- suing year, and shall also submit therewith a general state - ment of the probable income and schedule of fees, to be charged in. the operation of said I.unicipal Golf Course. That the said budget and schedule of fees may be enlarged, increased or reduced, or items added, or stricken from the estimated budget and the schedule of fees, by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell., Idaho, as they may'see fib, and the amount of the budget finally dete3m fined by the IIayor and Council shall be included in the annual budget of the City of Caldwell, as required by law. Sec. S. Nil moneys collected as fees, dues and other- wise from the P.unicipal Golf Course shall be paid to the city o ff City of Cad well at la L6 � uiice each week. ,,nd any person or persons" who shall be designated to collect such fees, dues or other moneys from the Caldwell ilunicipal Golf Course shall -, i°c-quired to give bond to the City of -3- j Caldwell in a stun to be deter.ined by the ayor and Council by resolution, and the penal stem to be determined by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell by resolution for the faithful performance of their duties. Sec. 9. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passa_,e, approval and publication.
