ORDINANCE NO. 1614
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY
OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, FROM R -1 LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO R -3
MULTI - FAMILY HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL ZONE A14D DETERMINING THAT
SAID CHANGE IN ZONING IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY OF CALD-
WELL, IDAHO: REPEALING ALL LAWS, ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL,
IDAHO:
WHEREAS, It has been determined by the City Council of the City
of Caldwell, Idaho, upon recommendation of the Planning and Zoning
Commission of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, and following the public
hearing procedures as required, that it is in the best interests
of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, that certain property described
hereafter as Exhibit A be rezoned, it is hereby ordained as follows:
Section 1. That certain land described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto, and by this reference incorporated herein, is now zoned R -1
Low Density Residential, and is located within the City of Caldwell,
Canyon County, State of Idaho, the Council having previously annexed,
said land to the City of Caldwell, Idaho.
Section 2. It is hereby declared by the Mayor and Council of
the City of Caldwell, Idaho, that the tract of land described in
"Exhibit A," a proper legal description, to be declared to be
R -3 Multi- Family High Density Residential, and shall be so changed
from R -1 Low Density Residential to R -3 Multi - Family High Density
Residential after the date of tnis Ordinance.
Section 3. The City Clerk of the City of Caldwell, and the
City Engineer of the City of Caldwell, are hereby instructed to so
designate the same above - described property on the official zoning
map of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, as being R -3 Multi- Family high
Density Residential property.
Section 4. All ordinances, resolutions, order, or parts
thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded and
annulled.

Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to
law.

EXHIBIT A
BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 28, Township
4 North, Range 3 West of the Boise Meridian, which point is the
Northeast corner of Frost's Addition to Caldwell, Idaho, the offi-
cial plat of which is on file and of record in the office of the
Canyon County Recorder in Book 2 of Plats at Page 83, and also is
the intersection of the centerline of S. Kimball Avenue with the
north boundary of Morrison Street; thence West along the North
boundary of Morrison Street, 330 feet to its intersection with the
centerline of Parker Avenue; thence South along; the centerline of
Parker Avenue, 490 feet to its intersection with the South line
extended of Lot 21, Block 4 of said Frost's Addition; thence east
along the South line and 1-he South pine extended of said Lot 21,
141 feet; thence North and parallel with the West boundary of said
Block 4, 130 feet to the centerline of vacated Mead Street; thence
East along the centerline of vacated Mead Street, 139 feet to the
centerline of S. Kimball Avenue; thence North along the centerline
of S. Kimball Avenue, 360 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
