BY COUNCILMAN
AN.ORDINANCE GIVING NOTICE TO ALL CITIZENS OF, AND OWNERS OF
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF CALDWELL, THAT AN APPLICATION HAS BEEN
PRESENTED FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF BLOMQUIST AVENUE, IN
THE INDUSTRIAL -SITE .ADDITION TO THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, AS
THE SAME IS SHOWN ON THE OFFICIAL PLAT THEREOF NOW ON FILE AND
OF RECORD IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF CANYON COUNTY, IDAHO.
BE IT ORDAINED AND ESTABLISHED By the Mayor and Council of
the City of Caldwell, Idaho:
Section 1. That an application has been presented to the
Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, for the passage
and approval of an ordinance vacating a "portion of,'Blomquist
Avenue in the Industrial -Site Addition to the City of Caldwell,
Idaho, as the same is shown on the official plat thereof, more
particularly described as follows:
The Guest three feet of Blomquist Avenue from LaFond
Street to Evans Street, more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 16 of the
Industrial-Site Addition to the City of Caldwell, Idaho,
according to official plat thereof on file and of record
in the office of the County Recorder of Canyon County,
Idaho; thence East along the North boundary line of Lot
16 extended, a distance of 3.00 feet; thence South and
parallel to the East boundary line of Lots 16, 27, 33 and
36 of the said Industrial -Site Addition to a point on
the South boundary line of said Lot 36 extended which is
3.00 feet East of the Southeast corner of said Lot 36;
thence West along the South boundary line of said Lot
36 extended a distance of 3.00 feet to the Southeast
corner of said Lot 36; thence North along the East
boundary line of Said Lots 36, 33, 27 and 16 to the
point of beginning;
the applicant, ALLIED SEED COMPANY, being the owner of adjacent
property.
Section 2. That said application will be considered under a
suspension of the requirement that an ordinance be read on three
different days at a meeting of the Council of the City of Caldwell,
to be held on the 20th days of March, 1961, at the hour of g o'clock
P.M., at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Caldwell, when and where, or prior to which date, any citizen of
the City of Caldwell, or any owner of property in the City of
Caldwell, may file with the Clerk of the City of Caldwell any
claim for damages which any such citizen or owner of property may

sustain by reason of the vacation of said ,portion of Blomquist
Avenue and all claims for damages so filed will be considered and
ascertained by the Council of the City of Caldwell at said
meeting.
Section 3. Notice of the foregoing will be given to all
citizens of, and owners of property in the City of Caldwell,
Idaho, by the publication of this ordinance in the News - Tribune,
a newspaper published in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, in one
issue thereof, published on March 15, 1961.
