CAJT. FIXING RESPON3IBILIT-IEZ AND PROVIDING R vALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS; PROVIDING PROVISIONS FOR VARIANCE OF REGULATIONS. S ECTION I DEFINITIONS: C* A "Tourist Camp" means any park, tourist park, tourist court, Camp, site, lot, parcel, or tract of land upon which one or more camp cottages or cabins are located and -maintained for the accommoaation - of transients by the day, week, • month, whether a charge is made ♦ not. d. A "Unit" means a section of ground in a trailer camp of not less than 1,000 square feet (25 of unoccupied space in an area designated as the location for only one automobile and one trailer. e. A "Cabin Plot" means a section of ground not less than feet eet by 40 feet in area, upon which only one camp cottage or cabin is located. f. The work "person" shall be construed to include persons, partnership, fin, company, corporation, tenant, owner, lessee, or Licensee, their agents, heirs or assigns. 9. "Dependent Trailer Coach" or "Dependent Mobile Home" . shall mean any vehicle which does not have a toilet and a bath- 'tub or shower. h. "Independent Trailer Coach" or "Independent Mobile Homer' shall mean any vehicle which has a toilet and a bathtub or shower. LAW 0 ncff SMITH & MILLER CALDWELL. IDAHO Enforcement of this ordinance shall be vested in the Chief of Police of the City of Caldwell upon written complaints made by the Building Inspector, the Fire Chief, the Health Inspector or any of their designated representatives. SECTION II INSPECTIONS OF PRMVIISES: Any properly constituted enforcement representative as hereinbefore designated in this ordinance shall have the power to enter at reasonable times upon any Private or public property for the purpose of inspecting and investigating conditions relating to the enforcement of this Ordinance, or of regulations promulgated thereunder. PARKING OF TRAILER HOUSES OR MOBILE H01VZ'§ OUTSIDE OF LICENSED TRAUM =C 1. No occupied trailer or mobile home shall be parked outside of a license court in the City of Caldwell except as provided herein. 2. Emergency or temporary stopping or parking is permitted on any street alley, or highway for a period of not more than two (2) hours, subject to any other and further prohibitions, regulations, or limitations imposed by traffic and parking regula- tions or ordinances. 3. One (1) unoccupied trailer house or mobile home may be stored by the owner o_n_ rear one-half of his residence lot. This unoccupied unit shall be so parked as to comply with estab- lished building lines, setbacks and separations and so that it will not be closer than four (4) feet to property lines. Any person or persons violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon con- viction thereof shall be fined in the sum of not more than' twenty- five (�.')25.00) dollars or imprisoned in the City Jail not to exceed seven (7) days, or both such fine and imprisonment. SECTION 11 �. It shall be unlawful for any person to establish, operate, or maintain, or permit to be established, operated or maintaine prope o ol d upon any rty wned or contrled by a trailer ca o mp or turist camp within the limits of the Ci y 0 Caldwell, without first having secured a permit therefor from the properly recog- nized authority issuing such permits, and in compliance with the terms of this ordinance and Zoning Regulations. The application for such permit shall be filed with the office of the Building Inspector in the same manner as application is made for Building Permits. The application shall be accompanies by a fee of five dollars N'5-00). Proper information to identify the premises and owners, in- cluding accurate descriptions, names, and addresses shall be entered an such application. The application for permit shall be accompanied by a scale drawing or plan indicating clearly thereon: Permits to install such trailer camps or tourist camps shall not be construed as substitutions for the regularly required per- mits for building, plumbing, electrical, or gas installation work. b. LOCATION, SPACE,, AND GENERAL YOUT: The trailer court shall be located on a well-drained site, and shall be so located that its drainage will not endanger any water supply. All such trailer courts shall be in areas free from marshes, swamps, or other potential breeding places for insects or rodents. The area of the trailer court shall be large enough to ac- commodate: a. The designated number of trailer-coach spaces; b. Necessary streets and roadways; c. Parking areas for motor vehicles; and d. ZL_U!t T INN All Plumbing in the trailer court shall comply with State and local plumbing laws and regulations. e. SEIvAGE DISPOSAL: Trailer courts shall be served by a public sewer system, or by a private disposal systern which has the approval of the health officer. Each trailer-coach space shall be provided with a sat- isfactory sewer connection. All sewage-disposal apparatus, in- cluding appurtenances thereto, shall be provided, maintained and operated so as not to create a nuisance or health hazard. g. INSECT,.L10 RODENT CONTROL: :Insect - control and rodent-control measures to safeguard public health, as recommended by the health officer, shall be applied in the trailer court. h. ELECTRICITY: An electrical outlet supplying at least 110 volts shall be provided for each trailer-coach space. The installation shall comply with all State and local electrical codes and ordinances. Such electrical outlets shall be weatherproof. No power line shall be permitted to lie on the ground, or to be suspended less than 18 feet above the ground. MEL: Liquefied petrolemi gas for cooking purposes shall not be used at individual trailer coach spaces unless the containers are properly connected by copper or other suitable metallic tubing. Liquefied petroleum gas cylinders shall be securely fastened in place, and adequately protected from the weather. No cylinder containing liquefied petroleum gas shall be located in a trailer coach, nor within 5 feet of a door thereof. J. FIRE PROTECTION: The court area shall be subject to the rules and regula- tions of the fire-prevention authority. �L_CT L Provided, that no variance • this ordinance shall be effectivel until after a hearing has been had on an application for a variance, and that public notice at least ten days prior to said hearing I shall have been published in the official newspaper of the City of Caldwell for at least one publi All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
