AS A1 BY ORDINANCES MOS. 627, 637, 670 688 689, 723, 714,8,
776, 796 827 855 and 911 OF THE CITY OF Chu'V12ILL, CHANGING THE
COPIPENSA�ION 1`0 BE PAID THE CHIEF OF POLICE, DETECTIVE LIEUTENANT,
DETEECTIVES, SERGEA14TS OF POLICE, PATROUJTZI, POUINDRIASTER, 11 jATROT`1
AND CLERKS; PROVIDING TITHE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERWITH.
Be it ordained by the 1 and Council of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho.-
Section 1. That Section 1-602 of the Caldwell Code of 1942,
as amended by ordinances Mos. 627, 637, 6 7 0 0 , 688 3* 689, 723, 748,
776, 796, 827, 855 and 911, be, and the same is hereby amended
11 1-602. Compensation of appointed and duly constituted
members of the Police Department of the City of Caldwell, Idaho.- -
That compensation of the appointed and duly constituted members
of the Police Department of the City or Caldwell, Idaho shall be
as follows:
"Provided that the compensation.of the Chief of Police shall
be increased at the rate of ';�120.00 per annum for each year of
consecutive service until a maximum of : per month has been
reached.
"Provided that the compensation of the Lieutenant of Police
shall be increased at the rate of X120.00 per annum for the first
year of consecutive service in that classification and thereafter
,-
at the rae of %','?�'60.00 per annum, until a maximum of <425-00 per
month hay been reached.
' that the compensation of Detectives shall be in-
creased at the rate of lj.>60.00 per annum for each year of consecuti
service until a maximum of 4370-00 per month has been reached.
"Provided that the compensation of Sergeants of Police shall
be increased at the rate of : '60.00 per annum for each year of
consecutive service until a maximum of 4 4350.00 per month has been
reached.

"Provided that the comnensation of Patrol-men and Poundmaster
shall be increased at the rate of �,�WO.00 per annum for the first
year of consecutive service in that classification, and, thereafter
at the rate of . per annum, until a maximum of -11 per
month has been reached.
"Provided that the compensation of Platron shall be increased
at the rate of , ,�,,�,60.00 per annum for each year • consecutive
service until a maximum of ;'.1285-00 per month has been reached.
"Provided that the compensation of Clerks shall be increased

Section 3. All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in force and shall take
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication.
